Capello ends David James' England career

David James will be the first casualty of England's World Cup debacle when he is left out of the squad for next week's friendly with Hungary.
But Fabio Capello is ready to make a decisive break with the past by naming Arsenal youngsters Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshire.
Spurs skipper Ledley King will also be omitted as Capello implicitly concedes he was wrong to gamble on the problem-plagued defender.
And the England boss is weighing up the idea of including two total rookies in the shape of Arsenal duo Wilshire and Gibbs.
Rob Green is also under threat, with Stephen Warnock, Aaron Lennon and Michael Carrick struggling to make the cut, while Jamie Carragher and Emile Heskey have already retired from international consideration.
Capello is ready to make good his promise to blood the next generation by handing England chances to the eight men he named after the World Cup debacle, including left-back Gibbs, midfielder Wilshire, Theo Walcott and Fulham striker Bobby Zamora.
James, who earned his 53rd cap in the last 16 humiliation by Germany, had spoken of his remaining England ambitions.
Along with Manchester City's Joe Hart, likely to start the game, Capello will give him competition in the form of Ben Foster, placing a massive question mark over Green.
The Italian and his chief lieutenant Franco Baldini have scheduled a tour of the country over the next three days before the squad is finalised, taking first-hand looks Hart, Michael Dawson, Adam Johnson and Gabriel Agbonlahor in pre-season action for their clubs.
And with Capello knowing he has to show he is open to new thinking, he is set to restore Walcott and Foster, give Fulham striker Zamora his first England call and is giving active consideration to blooding both Gibbs - who missed most of last season with a broken foot - and Wilshire, who has still to make a Premier League start for the Gunners.
Capello held meetings with FA officials at Wembley yesterday, reacquainting himself with his surroundings after his post-Word Cup break.
Despite Foster's recall - he began last season as Capello's preferred first choice for the World Cup but fell out of the picture after dropping to third in the Manchester United pecking order - Hart is expected to get the chance to prove he should be the England first choice goalkeeper.
Spurs defender Dawson is likely to be asked to stake his claim at centre-half, while the lack of pace and danger England showed out wide will see Johnson and Walcott, brought back into the fold.
Capello will finalise the squad after his medical staff check with the top flight clubs to ensure the players are fit but is keen on bringing in at least five players who were not on duty in South Africa.
