Ten facts from the 2010 World Cup final between Holland and Spain.

1) Holland lined up with shirt numbers 1-11. This was the first time that has happened in a World Cup final since squad numbers were introduced in 1954.

2) In the first 30 minutes of the final, there were as many yellow cards as there were shots (5).

3) This is only the second World Cup final to have finished 0-0 after 90 minutes. The other was Brazil v Italy in 1994.

4) Holland picked up 23 yellow cards – only Argentina (23-1990) have picked up as many in a single World Cup finals.

6) John Heitinga became the fifth player to be given a red card in a World Cup final. All five have come in the last six finals.

9) Spain (3752) made more successful passes in a World Cup than any team since 1966, surpassing Brazil from 1994 (3547).

10) Following Holland's defeat, New Zealand were the only team not to lose a game at the 2010 World Cup.
