The running of the AJC Derby at Sydney's Randwick racecourse on April 10 has caused a rescheduling to the AFL draw.

The round three afternoon match between the Sydney Swans and Richmond at the Sydney Cricket Ground will now be a Saturday night game.

The change also affects the match at Football Park between Port Adelaide and Brisbane, which will no longer be a night game but instead start at 2:40pm local time.

The AFL has made the changes at the request of the New South Wales Government.
